Location: Gallant, Alabama

This 1-day class is designed to teach the student the basics of human tracking. The student will learn to identify track indicators, dynamics of a foot print, rules of tracking, lost spoor procedures, individual tracking techniques, and tracking team formations in regards to search and rescue.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

Hiking boots (broken in), cap or bandana, small day pack, clothing appropriate for the season, water container, rain gear (jacket or poncho), lunch or snacks easily prepared in the field.

Took this class because I thought it would be fun. I wasn't wrong. They even threw in some rain and cold at no extra charge. Very eye opening in the difficulty of tracking and reading sign to figure out what someone may have been doing when missing or lost. Excellent class and top notch instruction.
